About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Surgical or Acute Medicine Resident Doctor to join a leading private healthcare provider at a prestigious hospital in Birmingham, West Midlands. This role involves working across general wards and day-case areas, delivering high-quality medical care in collaboration with Consultant-led teams and specialist nursing staff.

What We Are Looking For

Essential Requirements:

- GMC registration and licence to practise in the UK

- MBBS medical qualification

- Valid ALS certification

- Minimum of three years' specialty/IMT/CT training (NHS-trained preferred)

- Strong clinical acumen, teamwork skills, and a patient-centred approach

Desirable:

- MRCP or MRCS qualification

As a Resident Doctor, you will play a key role in patient management, including:

- Conducting pre-operative and post-operative assessments

- Participating in ward rounds and clinical reviews

- Managing admissions, discharges, and patient referrals

- Providing immediate medical care, including responding to emergency situations such as cardiac arrest calls
